Loke Skin Clinic offers consultant-level dermatology consultations for both acute and chronic skin conditions, delivered by four specialist doctors who collectively hold MRCP(UK) and FAMS(Dermatology) fellowships. The consultation covers a thorough clinical history and full skin examination, with dermatoscopy where indicated. Conditions commonly assessed include eczema (atopic, contact, seborrhoeic), psoriasis, vitiligo, urticaria, skin allergies, and a wide range of infectious dermatoses (bacterial, viral, fungal). Skin allergy patch testing and prick testing are available for patients with suspected contact or food allergies. Hair loss (alopecia areata, androgenetic alopecia, telogen effluvium) and nail disorders are also within the clinic's scope. A key differentiator is the clinic's ability to compound bespoke topical formulations — creams, ointments, and lotions tailored to the individual patient's skin type and condition — rather than relying solely on off-the-shelf preparations. With over 40 years of practice at Novena Medical Centre and multiple generations of patients, the clinic has a deep community trust that is rare in Singapore's dermatology sector. Phototherapy (narrowband UVB) and sexually transmitted infection screening are also available as adjuncts to the core consultation service.
