Beauty Studio Chemical Peel

Type

Chemical Peels

Duration

1 hour

The beauty studio at Lili Clinic Vinoř offers cosmetic-grade chemical peels using salicylic, azelaic, L-mandelic, and L-lactic acids applied by trained aestheticians for a range of superficial to medium-depth treatments. The studio peel is calibrated for maintenance, mild pigmentation, and post-acne brightening rather than deep resurfacing (which remains the province of the medical clinic). Full protocols include SPF aftercare and a recommended course of 3–4 sessions.

Chemical peeling in the beauty studio at Vinoř uses four key cosmetic-grade acids chosen for their favourable safety profile and proven results on a broad range of skin types: **Salicylic acid (BHA):** Penetrates the sebaceous follicle to clear comedones and reduce sebum production. Ideal for oily, combination, and acne-prone skin. Anti-inflammatory properties make it suitable even for active acne lesions. **Azelaic acid:** A naturally occurring dicarboxylic acid with triple action — mild comedolytic, anti-inflammatory, and tyrosinase-inhibiting (reducing melanin production). Suitable for rosacea, sensitive skin, and Fitzpatrick types III–V where stronger acids pose a risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. **L-mandelic acid (AHA):** The L-isomer of mandelic acid is slower-penetrating than glycolic acid, making it gentler for sensitive or darker skin tones while still effectively exfoliating and brightening. Particularly useful in anti-aging and hyperpigmentation maintenance protocols. **L-lactic acid (AHA):** Lactic acid improves skin hydration by stimulating natural moisturising factor (NMF) production in addition to exfoliation. Appropriate for dry, dehydrated, or mature skin types as part of a hydrating peel protocol. Peel depth at the studio ranges from very superficial (targeting the stratum corneum) to superficial-medium (reaching the papillary dermis). Deeper peels remain within the medical clinic's scope. For most clients, a course of 3–4 peels spaced 1–6 weeks apart (interval adjusted to skin response) delivers best results. Post-treatment protocol: apply SPF 50 multiple times daily, avoid rubbing or picking at peeling skin, use IPLASE cream followed by blue indulon serum for barrier support, and avoid tight headwear for one week. Mild redness appears immediately after application; visible peeling on days 3–4. Makeup may be resumed after 24 hours.
