Plasma lifting at Laserstudio is a regenerative skin procedure performed by MUDr. Bednář that harnesses the body's own healing biology rather than synthetic fillers or toxins. The treatment — formally platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy — begins with a 10 ml venous blood draw, after which the sample is placed in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma fraction from red blood cells. The separated plasma is mixed with a biological activator to concentrate the platelets and release their stored growth factors, including platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), and transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β). The activated plasma is then administered via micro-needle injection into the dermis of the target area — face, neck, décolletage, or hand backs — delivering growth factors directly to the fibroblasts responsible for collagen and elastin synthesis. Immediately following injection, residual plasma is applied topically to the skin surface, and a 13-minute session under the clinic's Omnilux biostimulation LED device is performed to enhance cellular uptake and accelerate the healing response. Because the session requires topical numbing cream to be applied one hour before injection, the total appointment duration is approximately 1 hour 45 minutes.
