A minimum of three treatments spaced 3–4 weeks apart is recommended for lasting results. Following each peel, redness is expected for hours to days, and light peeling begins around day 3 as the treated epidermis separates. New epidermis forms within 7 days. Sun protection with SPF 20+ is mandatory during and after the course, and treatment is typically scheduled in autumn, winter, or spring when UV exposure is lower.

Preparation required
