Acne Treatment — Spectra XT 6-Session Cycle

Acne treatment at Laserstudio follows a structured multi-modal protocol designed to address the four primary pathogenic factors of acne: excess sebum production, follicular hyperkeratinisation (blocked pores), Cutibacterium acnes colonisation, and local inflammation. The six-session cycle integrates three distinct laser and light modalities to attack each factor from a different angle.

The cycle begins with one session using the carbon mask in acne mode (Spectra XT): carbon-infused lotion is applied to the skin, worked into the pores with gentle heat, and then the Spectra XT laser is activated at long-wave and ultra-short pulse modes to vaporise the carbon along with embedded sebum, dead keratinocytes, and bacterial colonies. This step produces immediate deep-pore cleansing and a noticeable reduction in pore size.

One Omnilux LED biostimulation session is included in the cycle. The Omnilux red-light device delivers targeted photobiomodulation to the dermis at 3 mm depth, stimulating cellular repair, reducing inflammatory cytokine activity, and encouraging the skin's natural collagen and elastin remodelling — which helps flatten post-acne marks and improve overall texture.
