RF Microneedling (Secret RF)

Secret RF combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy delivered into the skin to tighten laxity and improve texture more powerfully than microneedling alone. The radiofrequency heats the deeper dermis to stimulate collagen and firm the skin, making it well suited to early jowls, crêpey skin and the neck. Secret RF is a radiofrequency (RF) microneedling system that pairs the collagen-stimulating effect of microneedling with controlled RF energy released from insulated needle tips into the deeper layers of the skin. While the micro-needles trigger the surface healing response, the radiofrequency heats the dermis to contract existing collagen and prompt new collagen and elastin formation — giving a firming, tightening effect that plain microneedling cannot achieve on its own. At Laser-Medica the area is cleansed and numbed before treatment, which takes around forty-five to sixty minutes. The face is priced at 1,700–1,800 zł, the neck at 1,000 zł, the décolleté at 1,200–1,500 zł, the face and neck together at 2,000 zł and the face, neck and décolleté at 2,500 zł, with options for the breasts and for excessive underarm sweating. Expect redness and a feeling of mild tightness or warmth for a day or two, with little other downtime. The treatment is particularly useful for early skin laxity — softening jowls, firming the lower face and neck, and improving crêpey skin — as well as enlarged pores and some scarring. Because results build as collagen remodels, a course of around three sessions spaced four to six weeks apart is recommended, with effects continuing to improve over the following months and maintenance once or twice a year. Suitability, including for those with certain implanted electronic devices, is assessed at consultation, and the treatment is avoided in pregnancy.
