PRP Facial (Platelet-Rich Plasma)

Type

PRP/PRF Therapy

Duration

1 hour

Platelet-rich plasma uses a small sample of your own blood, spun to concentrate its platelets and growth factors, which is then applied to stimulate skin repair and rejuvenation. Because it is derived entirely from you, it is well tolerated and a natural option for improving skin quality. Laser-Medica offers several PRP and PRF protocols, including a Cellular Matrix combination with hyaluronic acid, and a short course is recommended.

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is a regenerative skin treatment that harnesses your own blood's healing components. A small sample is drawn and spun in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelets, which are rich in growth factors that signal tissue repair and collagen production. This concentrated plasma is then injected into the skin or applied with microneedling to rejuvenate tone, texture and firmness; a related preparation, PRF (platelet-rich fibrin), releases its growth factors more slowly. At Laser-Medica the menu includes PRP Classic and PRF Classic at 800 zł, Plasma Complex at 1,200 zł, a Cellular Matrix protocol that combines PRP with hyaluronic acid at 1,200 zł, and PRP Extra at 1,300 zł. The process — blood draw, preparation and treatment — takes around forty-five to sixty minutes, with numbing cream applied for comfort. Because the material is entirely your own, there is no risk of allergy to a foreign substance, which makes PRP a popular choice for patients who prefer a natural approach; expect mild redness or small bruises for a day or two. Results build gradually as collagen remodels over several weeks, so a course of around three sessions spaced four to six weeks apart is recommended, with maintenance once or twice a year. PRP is well suited to dull or tired skin and fine lines and combines well with microneedling and laser. Suitability is assessed at consultation; it is not performed in pregnancy or in certain blood or clotting conditions.
