A chemical peel uses a solution of carefully selected acids to loosen and remove the outer layers of skin in a controlled way. As that surface sheds over the following days, fresher skin is revealed and the process stimulates renewal beneath, which can improve dullness, uneven texture, mild pigmentation, fine lines and congestion. Peels range from very superficial — a light refresh with little downtime — to medium-depth treatments that work deeper at the cost of more visible peeling. At Laser-Medica superficial options including glycolic (AHA), Jessner's, pyruvic (Mediderma), mandelic and salicylic peels are each priced at 200 zł, while a stronger trichloroacetic acid (TCA) peel is 500 zł. For more determined pigmentation the clinic offers the intensive Cosmelan programme at 1,500 zł and Dermamelan at 2,000 zł, both of which pair an in-clinic mask with take-home maintenance creams that are priced separately. Lighter peels are often used as a short course every few weeks, while medium and pigmentation programmes are planned individually.
