Surgical laser ablation for skin growth removal at Laser Care uses an ablative laser — operating at a wavelength where water in tissue absorbs energy efficiently — to vaporise unwanted benign lesions layer by layer with precise control over depth and area. Unlike a scalpel excision, the laser seals small blood vessels as it works, reducing intraoperative bleeding, and the precise beam limits thermal damage to a narrow zone around the treatment area. For appropriate lesions — including common warts (verruca vulgaris), polyps, small benign moles (névy without atypical features), fibromas (soft tissue benign tumours), skin tags and similar growths — the result is clean removal without deep tissue disruption and a healing wound that typically closes and fades within two to four weeks. Before any removal, MUDr. Šťastná performs a clinical assessment of each lesion from 400 Kč. This consultation step is clinically important: moles in particular carry a differential diagnosis that includes benign intradermal naevi, junctional naevi and, in a small proportion of cases, pigmented lesions with features warranting histopathological review before ablation. Laser vaporisation destroys the lesion tissue without preserving it for pathology — if a lesion has any atypical clinical features, surgical excision with histopathological examination is the appropriate method rather than laser ablation. The assessment confirms which removal route is appropriate for each growth. For lesions confirmed as suitable for laser removal, the procedure takes only a few minutes per growth under local anaesthetic or with topical numbing as appropriate. The laser vaporises the lesion, the treated area forms a small scab, and natural healing over two to four weeks leaves skin that progressively normalises.
