About this treatment
Lyme borreliosis is a tick-borne bacterial infection common in Central Europe that, if untreated, can cause joint, neurological and other complications. LABSHOP's Lyme test checks for antibodies to Borrelia from a blood sample analysed in SPADIA's laboratories.
The test is well suited to people who have had a tick bite, those with a characteristic rash or unexplained symptoms after outdoor exposure, and anyone wanting reassurance after tick-season activity. A tick-borne encephalitis antibody test (370 Kč) is also available. Antibody timing matters and positive results should be reviewed with a physician.
