The Double Effect Lift pairs two complementary technologies in one appointment. Morpheus8 Optimas Max is a radiofrequency (RF) microneedling system that drives fine needles into the skin and releases RF energy from their tips into the deeper dermal and subdermal layers; this heats the tissue to contract existing collagen and prompt new collagen and elastin formation, producing a firming and tightening effect that microneedling alone cannot achieve. The thulium laser then works on the more superficial layers to resurface the skin, refining texture and evening out tone. Combining the two in a single visit addresses both skin firmness and surface quality together. Before treatment the area is cleansed and numbed, and a combined session is longer than a single modality — commonly around an hour or more depending on the areas treated, which range from the face alone to the face, neck and décolletage.
