About this treatment

Injectable fat dissolving, or lipolysis, targets a defined pocket of unwanted fat — most commonly the submental area under the chin that can blur the jawline. A solution is injected directly into the fat, where it is associated with disrupting fat-cell membranes so the contents are gradually cleared by the body over the following weeks. The result is a more defined chin and neck profile in suitable patients.
