About this treatment
Pelvic floor therapy at Centrum kyslíkové terapie uses electromagnetic-field stimulation to trigger thousands of supramaximal pelvic-floor muscle contractions per session — a level of activation impossible to reach with voluntary Kegel exercises. The treatment is non-invasive, performed fully clothed in a seated position on a specialised chair, and lasts 30 minutes per session.
Electromagnetic-field pelvic-floor protocols (HIFEM-class technology, with BTL Emsella as the most common branded implementation) are widely used for stress, urge, and mixed urinary incontinence; post-natal recovery; sexual-function support; and general pelvic-floor strengthening in older adults. The clinic does not name a specific device brand on its public site, but the protocol described — 30-minute sessions, recommended cycle of 6–8 sessions for…
Operator framing positions the treatment for women experiencing post-natal urinary leakage, peri- and post-menopausal pelvic-floor weakening, and broader pelvic-health concerns; it is also suitable for men (e.g. post-prostate-surgery continence support). The recommended protocol is 6–8 sessions over a few weeks, with maintenance sessions afterwards as needed.

Who is this for?
First-time clients trialling electromagnetic pelvic-floor therapy before committing to a pack. Women experiencing post-natal urinary leakage, peri- and post-menopausal pelvic-floor weakening; men post-prostate-surgery continence support; older adults with general pelvic-floor weakness. Not appropriate for anyone with cardiac pacemakers, defibrillators, pelvic metal implants, copper IUDs, or during pregnancy.
Preparation required
No specific preparation required. Sessions are performed fully clothed — wear comfortable trousers without metal fastenings (zips, studs) and remove any metal jewellery from the lower body. Empty your bladder before the session. The treatment chair generates a strong electromagnetic field; people with cardiac pacemakers, defibrillators, metal implants in the pelvic region, or who are pregnant must not undergo pelvic-floor electromagnetic therapy. Inform staff of any medical conditions (especially recent pelvic surgery, IUD, hip replacement) before booking your first session.
