Molecular hydrogen is being studied as a selective antioxidant — the working hypothesis is that H₂ neutralises hydroxyl radicals (•OH) and peroxynitrite (ONOO⁻), the most cytotoxic reactive oxygen species, while leaving signalling ROS intact, with downstream effects on inflammation, mitochondrial function, and recovery. The clinic offers two session lengths — 30 minutes (a short, light dose suited to slotting alongside other modalities) and 60 minutes (the standard stand-alone session). Both are non-invasive, clothed, and require no specific preparation beyond arriving hydrated.
