Kowayo Aesthetic Clinic's lip enhancement service uses hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers to volumise, define, and reshape the lips according to each patient's facial proportions and personal aesthetic goals. The clinic favours a conservative, natural-looking approach — avoiding overfilled or unnatural outcomes — by carefully assessing the patient's existing lip shape, the philtrum columns, Cupid's bow definition, and the lip-to-lower-face ratio before treatment. HA fillers are chosen for their versatility and reversibility (hyaluronidase can dissolve them if needed), with product selection dependent on the desired level of softness or projection. Common treatment objectives include adding volume to thin lips, defining the vermilion border, improving symmetry, correcting lip asymmetry, and addressing perioral lines. BTX (botulinum toxin) may be used as a complement for a lip flip effect — relaxing the orbicularis oris muscle to gently evert the upper lip without adding volume. All lip filler procedures at Kowayo are performed by Dr Wong Kee Seng or Dr Steffi Aw under topical or injected anaesthesia for patient comfort. Results are immediate and typically last 6–12 months.
