A low-level (biostimulation) laser facial treatment used at the institute for acne, scars, wrinkle prevention, and general skin regeneration. Coherent laser light is reported to stimulate the cell's energy metabolism, accelerating wound healing, calming irritated skin, and supporting oxygenation and hydration. Effectiveness is enhanced with a special laser gel (the Lasocar gel method), which adds oxygenation, antibacterial cleansing, and a mild lifting effect. About this treatment
Low-level laser therapy (photobiomodulation) uses coherent light at low power — well below the levels used for ablative or surgical lasers — to stimulate biological activity in skin cells rather than remove tissue.
