SkinPen Microneedling

SkinPen microneedling creates controlled micro-channels in the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin, improving texture, fine lines, enlarged pores and acne scarring. Microneedling with the SkinPen device uses a cluster of fine needles oscillating at speed to create thousands of precise micro-channels in the skin. These tiny, controlled injuries trigger the body's natural wound-healing response, prompting fresh collagen and elastin to form and refine the skin's surface over the following weeks. The channels also allow serums applied during the treatment to reach deeper than they otherwise would. At Klinika Złotowska the skin is cleansed and a numbing cream applied before treatment, which takes around thirty to forty-five minutes depending on the area. Expect redness similar to mild sunburn for a day or two, after which the skin looks fresher and, over several weeks, smoother and more even. SkinPen is well suited to uneven texture, enlarged pores, fine lines and mild-to-moderate acne scarring, and can be used on the face, neck and décolleté. For the best result — especially with scarring — a course of around three sessions spaced about four weeks apart is usual. Diligent sun protection afterwards is important.
