About this treatment
Liposuction is a body-contouring operation that removes persistent deposits of fat through small incisions using a fine cannula, smoothing and refining the shape of areas that have not responded to diet and exercise. At Klinika Złotowska it is commonly used on the abdomen and flanks, the area under the chin and other localised sites, and it is best thought of as a way to reshape specific areas rather than as a method of general weight loss.
Depending on the extent, the procedure is carried out under local or general anaesthetic and usually takes one to two hours.
