About this treatment

Platelet-rich plasma for hair applies the same regenerative principle as PRP for skin, focused on the scalp. A small blood sample is spun to concentrate its platelets and growth factors, which are then injected across the thinning areas. The growth factors are associated with improved blood supply to the hair follicles and with prolonging the active growth phase, which may help existing hair look thicker and reduce excessive shedding.

At Klinika Urody VITA the session takes around thirty to forty-five minutes, with the scalp numbed for comfort, and there is essentially no downtime beyond possible mild tenderness.
