Plasmolifting — also known as a platelet-rich plasma or PRP treatment — harnesses your own blood's repair components. A small sample is drawn and spun in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelets, which carry growth factors that signal tissue repair and are associated with collagen production. This concentrated plasma is then injected into the skin to support rejuvenation of tone, texture and firmness. At Klinika Urody VITA the process — blood draw, preparation and treatment — takes around forty-five to sixty minutes, with numbing cream applied for comfort. Because the material is entirely your own, there is no risk of an allergic reaction to a foreign substance, which makes it a popular choice for clients who prefer a natural approach. Mild redness or small bruises may appear for a day or two. Results build gradually as the skin renews over several weeks, so a course of around three sessions spaced several weeks apart is recommended, with maintenance once or twice a year. The clinic charges for the first ampoule and offers a reduced price for further ampoules used in the same session, allowing larger areas to be treated cost-effectively. PRP is well suited to dull or tired skin and fine lines, and can be combined with microneedling.
