About this treatment
The Emerge is a fractional, non-ablative laser that delivers energy into the skin in a grid of microscopic treatment zones, leaving the surrounding tissue intact. This fractional approach is associated with a collagen-remodelling response that can smooth texture, soften fine lines, improve the look of scarring and even out tone, while the untreated bridges of skin between the zones support a faster recovery than older fully ablative resurfacing.
At Klinika Urody VITA the skin is cleansed and numbed before treatment, which takes around thirty to forty-five minutes for the face and less for a small targeted area. Afterwards the skin usually feels warm and looks flushed, with mild swelling and a fine sandpaper-like texture for a few days as it renews; most people return to everyday activities quickly with diligent moisturising and sun protection.
