After significant weight loss — through diet, exercise or bariatric surgery — the skin of the inner thighs often remains loose and overstretched, causing chafing, hygiene difficulties and discomfort during exercise that no amount of further weight loss will correct. A thigh lift addresses this directly by excising the redundant skin and tightening the remaining tissue to create a firmer, smoother inner-thigh contour.

At GISANT the procedure costs CZK 65,000 and is performed under general anaesthesia, with anaesthesia and a two-night hospital stay billed separately per the price list. The surgeon uses a longitudinal incision running along the inner thigh; the resulting scar is positioned where it is least conspicuous, though patients should understand that a thigh lift trades loose skin for a scar. The operation takes approximately three to four hours.

Recovery follows a structured course. Stitches are removed at ten to fourteen days, and a compression garment is worn for six to eight weeks to support the tissues, reduce swelling and help the skin redrape over the new contour. Patients limit strenuous activity during the early weeks, with full activity typically resuming after one to two months. Swelling settles progressively and the final result emerges over the following months as the scar matures.
