Liposuction at GISANT removes localised, diet-resistant fat to refine body contours, using the tumescent technique through small (about 10 mm) incisions. It is a contouring procedure rather than a treatment for obesity, with a maximum of roughly 2,000–3,000 ml removed per session. About this treatment

After surgery a compression garment is fitted and worn for up to two months to guide the tissue as it settles and to control swelling. Swelling resolves gradually, and the final contour emerges at around three months. Liposuction can be repeated in the same or different areas if desired.

Preparation required
Discontinue blood-thinning medication before surgery as advised. Complete the pre-operative examination for general anaesthesia. Liposuction is for contouring, not weight loss.
