Hymenoplasty at GISANT is a discreet reconstructive procedure that restores the hymen, performed under general anaesthesia or analgosedation with a one-day hospitalisation. A temporary catheter is used during the procedure, and it cannot be scheduled during menstruation. Healing is complete in approximately six weeks, and patients typically return to work within three to seven days. The clinic treats the procedure with privacy and sensitivity. As with the clinic's other intimate procedures, a consultation establishes suitability and the appropriate anaesthesia, and standard pre-operative checks apply for any anaesthesia used.
About this treatment
Hymenoplasty is a reconstructive procedure that restores the hymen, sought for personal, cultural or religious reasons. GISANT performs it discreetly and with sensitivity to the privacy concerns that often accompany the request.
At GISANT the procedure costs CZK 15,000 and is performed under general anaesthesia or analgosedation (a lighter sedation combined with local anaesthetic), with a one-day hospitalisation. A temporary urinary catheter is placed during the procedure as part of standard care. The surgery cannot be carried out during menstruation, so timing is arranged around the patient's cycle.
The surgeon reconstructs the hymenal tissue using fine, absorbable sutures. Recovery is straightforward: patients typically return to work within three to seven days, and full healing takes approximately six weeks. During the healing period, patients follow the clinic's aftercare instructions on hygiene and activity restriction to protect the delicate repair. Strenuous activity and sexual activity are avoided until healing is complete.
