Facelift surgery at GISANT restores definition to the face and neck by lifting and repositioning the skin and underlying SMAS layer and removing surplus tissue. The clinic offers three options: a classic facelift (CZK 69,000) for the full face and neck, a mini facelift (CZK 39,000) focused on the lower face and early jowling, and a lower facelift (CZK 54,000) targeting the jawline and neck region. Lead surgeon MUDr. Tarek Rashed performs facelift surgery frequently. Incisions are placed around the ear and hairline so scars are concealed. The procedure is typically chosen from around age 40; pre-operatively, blood-thinners are stopped two to three weeks before and patients should be free of acute illness for three weeks.
About this treatment
A surgical facelift remains the most effective way to restore visible youth to the lower face, jawline and neck because it physically repositions tissue that has descended with gravity and ageing — something no injectable or energy device can replicate. GISANT offers three configurations matched to the degree of ageing.
The classic facelift (CZK 69,000) addresses the full mid-to-lower face and neck, lifting and re-draping the skin and the superficial musculoaponeurotic system (SMAS) — the fibromuscular layer beneath the skin — before securing it in a more youthful position and conservatively removing excess skin. The mini facelift (CZK 39,000) uses shorter incisions concentrated around the ear and is best suited to patients with early-to-moderate jowling and good skin…
In each approach, incisions are placed in the hairline and around the ear so that healed scars fall within natural skin folds and behind the ear. The SMAS-based technique avoids the tight, windswept look that results from skin-only tension, producing a natural rejuvenation. The operation is performed under general anaesthesia with an overnight stay, both billed separately per the price list.

Who is this for?
Patients from around age 40 with sagging facial skin, jowling, loss of jawline definition or neck laxity
Preparation required
Stop blood-thinning medication 2–3 weeks before surgery as advised. Be free of acute illness for around 3 weeks before. Avoid smoking around the procedure.
