A brow and forehead lift at GISANT raises drooped eyebrows and softens horizontal forehead lines by repositioning the brow and tightening the forehead skin and underlying tissue. Incisions are placed within or just behind the hairline so scarring stays hidden. The procedure can be performed under local or general anaesthesia, with an overnight stay if general anaesthesia is used. It is often chosen by patients whose heavy or low brow position contributes to a tired or stern expression, and it pairs naturally with upper-eyelid surgery for a comprehensive refresh of the upper face. About this treatment
As the upper face ages, the brow descends and the forehead develops horizontal expression lines, which together can create a tired, heavy or stern appearance even in someone who feels well rested. A brow (forehead) lift corrects this by elevating the eyebrows to a more youthful position and smoothing the forehead, addressing the cause rather than masking it.

After surgery, stitches are removed at ten to fourteen days. Most patients return to desk work within one to two weeks, and full activity resumes at around three to four weeks. Swelling and bruising around the forehead and eyes settle over the first weeks, and the result becomes increasingly natural as healing progresses.

Preparation required
Stop blood-thinning medication 2–3 weeks before surgery as advised. Avoid acute illness for around 3 weeks before the procedure.
