Mastopexy addresses breast ptosis — the descent of breast tissue that occurs when the skin envelope and supporting ligaments stretch over time. Unlike breast reduction, the volume of breast tissue is largely preserved; the operation focuses on reshaping the tissue and lifting the nipple-areola complex to a youthful height. The result is a breast that sits higher on the chest, has a rounder and firmer contour, and a forward-pointing nipple.

At GISANT the procedure costs CZK 45,000 and is performed under general anaesthesia, with anaesthesia and the one- to two-night hospital stay billed separately per the price list. After surgery, stitches are removed at around two weeks and a sports or compression bra is worn to support the healing breast. Swelling and bruising are most pronounced in the first weeks and settle progressively; the final shape stabilises at around three months, with scars continuing to fade and soften for many months afterwards.
