Vascular Laser (Thread-Vein Removal)

A vascular laser that targets visible facial capillaries, redness and broken veins, delivering light that is absorbed by the blood vessel so it fades over the following weeks. It is well suited to nose and cheek redness, thread veins and rosacea-type flushing, and can also treat the neck, décolleté and legs. Smaller zones can be treated individually, and a short course handles more widespread redness.

Vascular laser treatment uses a wavelength of light preferentially absorbed by the haemoglobin in small blood vessels. The absorbed energy heats and collapses the targeted vessel, which the body then gradually clears, so visible redness, thread veins and broken capillaries fade over the weeks after treatment. It is one of the more effective options for facial redness that does not respond to skincare alone. At Klinika La Perla the area is cleansed and assessed before treatment, which is quick — often only minutes for a small zone such as the nose, and around twenty to thirty minutes for the full face. You may notice mild redness, warmth or slight swelling immediately afterwards, settling over hours to a couple of days; some vessels darken briefly before clearing. Because results build as the treated vessels are cleared, more diffuse redness usually responds best to a short course, which the clinic prices as a discounted package, while isolated vessels may need only one or two sessions. The laser can be focused on individual zones — nose, cheeks, forehead, chin, upper lip — or extended to the neck, décolleté, hands and legs, with single small vessels treated on the spot. Sun avoidance and SPF before and after are important. The treatment is avoided over active infection, on tanned skin and in pregnancy; suitability is confirmed beforehand.
