Injection Mesotherapy

Type

Mesotherapy

Duration

1 hour

Injection mesotherapy at Klinika Kasiopea delivers a customised blend of hyaluronic acid, amino acids, vitamins and other active substances directly into the middle layer of the skin (mesoderm) through fine-needle microinjections. This technique provides intensive skin hydration, stimulates cellular regeneration and may support collagen production — addressing skin dullness, fine lines and loss of firmness in the face, neck, décolletage and upper arms. Dr. Bittner performs the treatment after applying local anaesthetic cream. A standard course consists of three sessions three to four weeks apart, followed by maintenance every six to twelve months.

Mesotherapy as a medical technique was first described by Dr. Michel Pistor in France in the 1950s and has since been refined into a precision skin treatment using microinjection devices and highly purified cocktail solutions. At Klinika Kasiopea, injection mesotherapy is performed by MUDr. Zbyněk Bittner using individually selected solutions containing hyaluronic acid (for deep hydration and plumping), amino acids (building blocks of collagen and elastin), vitamins B, C and others (cofactors for fibroblast activity and antioxidant protection) and additional active compounds tailored to each patient's skin concerns. The defining characteristic of mesotherapy versus surface-applied skincare is delivery depth. Active ingredients applied topically do not reliably penetrate the epidermis in therapeutic concentrations. Mesotherapy bypasses this barrier entirely by depositing the solution directly into the papillary and reticular dermis via multiple microinjections — typically spaced five to ten millimetres apart across the treatment area — where fibroblasts, collagen fibres and elastin networks reside. At this depth, the active ingredients interact directly with the cells responsible for skin architecture. The procedure at Klinika Kasiopea begins with the application of topical anaesthetic cream for 20–30 minutes, which markedly reduces the discomfort of the microinjections. The physician then delivers 2 ml of customised solution per area using a fine 32-gauge needle or a multi-needle mesotherapy injector, working systematically across the treatment zone. Session duration is 45–60 minutes including preparation time. The treated skin typically appears slightly flushed and may show small injection marks for 12–24 hours. For the face, mesotherapy is suited to: early fine lines around the eyes and mouth that are not yet deep enough for filler; general skin dehydration and loss of luminosity; uneven skin texture; and post-acne pore appearance. For the neck and décolletage — areas often neglected by other aesthetic treatments — mesotherapy provides specific hydration and tightening support that topical creams alone rarely achieve. The upper arms can also be treated for crepey skin texture. A course of three sessions three to four weeks apart is the standard protocol, allowing cumulative improvement with each treatment as the skin's dermal matrix responds to repeated stimulation. Many patients describe a visible improvement in skin luminosity after the first session; the full structural effect — improved firmness and reduction of fine lines — is evident after the complete course. Maintenance sessions every six to twelve months are recommended to sustain the result. Contraindications include hypersensitivity to any component of the solution, pregnancy and breastfeeding, acute skin infections in the treatment area, and active systemic illness. The treatment is suitable for women and men.
