The thread lift at Klinika Esthé uses resorbable barbed threads inserted under the skin to mechanically reposition mildly sagging tissue of the midface, jawline or neck and to stimulate collagen along the thread tracks. About this treatment
Thread lifting addresses the gap between filler (which restores volume but cannot reposition tissue) and facelift surgery (which repositions tissue definitively but requires weeks of recovery). Resorbable threads — typically PDO, PLLA or polycaprolactone with tiny barbs or cones — are introduced under the skin through entry points hidden in the hairline or behind natural creases. Best candidates
patients in their late 30s to 50s with mild to moderate sagging — early jowls, softened jawline, descending midface or brow tail — and reasonable skin quality. Significant skin excess or heavy sagging responds poorly to threads; at Esthé, those patients are referred internally to the facelift team rather than sold an underpowered treatment.
