Root canal treatment removes infected or inflamed tissue from inside a tooth, then cleans, shapes and seals the canals to save a tooth that might otherwise need extraction. Klinika dr Gajda prices by the number of canals, from 800 zł for a single-canal tooth, with an option to treat under a microscope for added precision. Re-treatment of teeth that were root-filled previously is also offered, and a crown to protect the tooth afterwards is quoted separately.
About this treatment
Inside every tooth is a soft core of nerve and blood vessels called the pulp. When this becomes infected or irreversibly inflamed — through deep decay, a crack or trauma — root canal (endodontic) treatment is used to relieve pain and save the tooth.
