Type

Hyperbaric Oxygen

Duration

1 hour

Standard 60-minute hyperbaric oxygen therapy session at any of the four KCTH branches in Kraków. Pay-per-session entry inside KCTH's chamber, with staff supervision and pre-session ear-equalisation briefing for first-time visitors. Booking by phone — advance reservation required at every branch.

The 60-minute single session is KCTH's standard HBOT tier at 150 PLN. It's the default booking for clients on a per-visit cadence, and the building block of the 1,900 PLN annual subscription (which becomes cheaper than pay-per-session after roughly 13 visits). KCTH does not publish the chamber's manufacturer, model, or ATA pressure on the public website. Pricing structure (a single tier handling either "1.5h or 2 people" at the next price point) implies the chamber can host up to 2 occupants. Network-level research from the parent Poland HBOT batch suggests soft-shell chambers around 1.3 ATA, but this is unverified — confirm with the studio before assuming a specific pressure tier. KCTH's brand positioning is wellness and longevity — the operator is the official Kraków partner of the ZdrowiNaLata longevity programme and self-describes as the "Centre of Longevity in Kraków". UHMS-recognised clinical indications (decompression sickness, severe non-healing wounds, carbon-monoxide poisoning, etc.) require hospital hyperbaric departments at ≥2.0 ATA, not a wellness chamber. KCTH's own site explicitly flags active chemotherapy and radiotherapy as contraindications. The 60-minute session is bookable at all four branches: Ruczaj (Konopczyńskiego 15) — flagship, Krowodrza (Miechowska 4a), Zabłocie (Klimeckiego 8/75 entrance D), and Biały Kościół (Królowej Jadwigi 11) ~20 km west of Kraków. Advance reservation is required by phone — the central booking line is +48 12 312 07 37.

Who Is This For?

Clients on a per-visit HBOT cadence who don't have a MultiSport/Medicover card and aren't ready to commit to the annual subscription. Suitable for general wellness goals — recovery, longevity-stack support, post-illness recovery, anti-inflammatory protocols. Not a substitute for hospital-grade ≥2.0 ATA hyperbaric protocols in clinical indications such as decompression sickness, severe non-healing wounds, or carbon-monoxide poisoning.

What's Included

Preparation Required

Avoid alcohol and heavy meals 2–3 hours before. Wear comfortable clothing without metal fastenings or strong fragrances. Inform staff of any cold/flu symptoms — ear-equalisation can be uncomfortable when congested. Bring a water bottle. Sessions are not advised during active chemotherapy or radiotherapy (flagged on KCTH's site), pregnancy, with active middle-ear infection, untreated pneumothorax, or recent ear surgery. Discuss any chronic conditions with KCTH staff before booking.
