Microscope-assisted root-canal treatment to save a tooth whose nerve is infected or inflamed, removing the diseased pulp, disinfecting the canals and sealing them. About this treatment
Root-canal (endodontic) treatment is used to save a tooth when the soft pulp inside it — the nerve and blood supply — becomes infected or irreversibly inflamed through deep decay, a crack or trauma.
