A custom dental crown that caps a damaged, heavily filled or root-treated tooth to restore its shape, strength and appearance. KCM's Dental Clinic offers milled porcelain, zirconia and full all-ceramic crowns, with a temporary PMMA crown fitted while the permanent one is made in the laboratory. Crowns are colour-matched to neighbouring teeth and are a common way to protect a tooth that is too broken down for a simple filling.

About this treatment

A crown is a tooth-shaped cap that fully covers a natural tooth or an implant abutment to rebuild a tooth that is broken, cracked, extensively filled or weakened after root-canal treatment. At KCM's Dental Clinic the tooth is prepared and an impression or digital scan is taken, a temporary PMMA crown is placed to protect it, and the laboratory makes the definitive crown to fit precisely and match the shade of the surrounding teeth.

KCM offers several materials so the restoration can be matched to the tooth and the patient's priorities. A milled porcelain crown starts at 1,800 zł and gives a natural look at the most accessible price; a zirconia crown at 2,100 zł adds extra strength, which suits back teeth and heavier bites; and a full all-ceramic crown at 2,300 zł prioritises translucency and aesthetics for front teeth.
