A dental consultation at KCM's Dental Clinic is a dedicated appointment to examine the teeth, gums and bite, identify any problems and set out a clear, itemised plan for treatment. The dentist checks for decay, gum disease, failing fillings or restorations and other issues, discusses the patient's concerns and goals, and explains the recommended options along with a written cost estimate. A standard examination with a treatment plan is 150 zł, and adding a panoramic X-ray (200 zł) gives a broad overview of all the teeth, roots and jaws. For anyone considering implants, crowns or bridges, more detailed planning is available: implant-prosthetic planning with panoramic imaging is 250 zł, and with 3D cone-beam tomography 350 zł, the latter giving a three-dimensional view of bone volume and anatomy that underpins safe, accurate implant placement. This planning step is especially valuable for international patients, who can have their case scoped, sequenced and costed in advance so a treatment trip is used efficiently — and because KCM is a multidisciplinary hospital, related care can be coordinated at the same site. A separate children's consultation is offered for younger patients.
