Professional teeth whitening lightens the shade of natural teeth using a controlled bleaching gel. At Kamil Turek Stomatologia you can choose in-office whitening, where a gel is activated with a Beyond lamp for results in a single visit, or a take-home system with custom-fitted trays to whiten gradually at home. Both are supervised by the dental team, which is safer and more even than over-the-counter products. A clean and check-up beforehand gives the best, most uniform result.
About this treatment
Professional whitening uses a peroxide-based gel to break down stains within the enamel and dentine and lift the overall shade of the teeth. Carrying it out under dental supervision means the gums are protected, the concentration is appropriate and the result is monitored — advantages over shop-bought strips and kits, which are weaker and can be applied unevenly. At Kamil Turek Stomatologia two routes are offered so the approach can suit the patient.
In-office whitening is done in the clinic in a single appointment: the gums are isolated, a professional-strength gel is applied to the teeth and activated using a Beyond whitening lamp, usually over a few cycles within the visit, for a visible change the same day. The take-home option uses thin, custom-made trays produced from impressions of your teeth, together with whitening gel to wear for set periods over a couple of weeks, lightening the teeth more…
