An initial dental examination at Kaja Dental covers a full assessment of your teeth and gums, opening a medical record, a one-to-one consultation and a written treatment plan. It is the recommended starting point for new patients and for anyone visiting from abroad who wants a clear picture of what work is needed and what it will cost before committing. Digital intra-oral X-rays of individual teeth can be taken when required to support diagnosis.

A first visit to Kaja Dental is a dedicated examination appointment in which the dentist reviews your dental and relevant medical history, examines each tooth and the surrounding gum and soft tissues, and discusses any concerns or symptoms you have. The findings are recorded in a new patient chart and used to build a staged treatment plan, so you understand which treatments are recommended, in what order, and what each will cost before any work begins. For patients travelling from Germany or further afield, this appointment is especially useful: it allows a complete plan and cost estimate to be drawn up so treatment can be scheduled efficiently around a visit, and questions can be discussed in Polish or English. Where needed, the dentist may take a digital X-ray of an individual tooth to check for decay between teeth, assess the roots or plan endodontic or surgical work. The examination is also the point at which preventive needs — such as professional hygiene — and any aesthetic options are identified. Existing patients are recalled for a shorter routine check roughly every twelve months to keep fillings, crowns and gum health under review. The consultation is carried out without pressure to proceed, and the dentist will explain realistic outcomes and alternatives for each proposed treatment.
