Individual Physiotherapy — Adults

Type

Physiotherapy

Duration

55 min

One-to-one physiotherapy sessions for adults, delivered by Charles University-trained therapists using a blend of manual techniques, DNS (Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation) methodology, and myofascial approaches. Each session is built around a personalised treatment plan following a structured assessment, and the therapist has direct access to the clinic's BTL 6000 TR radiofrequency device, high-power laser, and focused shockwave equipment — enabling combination therapy within a single appointment. Sessions are 55 minutes (1,700 Kč) or 25 minutes (1,000 Kč), Monday to Friday at K+Clinic Prague 5-Smíchov.

K+Clinic's individual adult physiotherapy programme begins with a thorough functional assessment on the first visit: the physiotherapist documents posture, range of motion, movement quality, pain patterns, and prior injury history before designing a personalised treatment plan. The plan typically evolves over subsequent sessions as the patient progresses. Four Charles University-trained physiotherapists cover the adult programme: Bc. Filip Vopěnka specialises in sports injuries and chronic pain using DNS methodology and manual therapy; Mgr. David Filip focuses on post-operative and post-trauma rehabilitation with expertise in myofascial release and neuromuscular stabilisation; Mgr. Natálie Trešlová covers sports and movement rehabilitation; and Mgr. Tereza Čadilová brings expertise in conditioning and complex pain presentations. Manual techniques employed include joint mobilisation, soft-tissue massage, trigger-point release, and specific neuromuscular re-education exercises. Within the session, the therapist can incorporate device-assisted modalities at reduced add-on rates: the BTL 6000 TR Therapy (deep tissue radiofrequency heating reaching deep muscle and joint layers), high-power laser (photobiomodulation for tissue repair and inflammation reduction), and focused shockwave therapy (high-energy acoustic impulses for tendon and fascial conditions). This multimodal approach makes each appointment more time-efficient than clinics using manual techniques alone. The 55-minute session is the standard format and allows time for a full treatment plus patient education and home-exercise instruction. The 25-minute session is suited to follow-ups or patients undergoing a focused single-technique intervention. Sessions are available Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00. Common presentations include lower back and neck pain, shoulder dysfunction, hip and knee pain, post-surgical rehabilitation (joint replacement, ligament repair), repetitive strain injuries, and general mobility and flexibility work.
