Dermapen microneedling creates controlled micro-channels in the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin, improving texture, fine lines, enlarged pores and acne scarring. An optional active serum ampoule can be driven into the skin during treatment for an added effect. A short course gives the best results, particularly for texture and scarring.

About this treatment

Microneedling with the Dermapen device uses a cluster of fine needles oscillating at high speed to create thousands of precise micro-channels in the skin. At Jurenko Clinic the skin is cleansed and a numbing cream applied before treatment, which takes around thirty to forty-five minutes depending on the area. Expect redness similar to mild sunburn for 24–48 hours, after which the skin looks fresher and, over a few weeks, smoother and more even.
