Hyaluronic acid filler placed directly into static lines and folds — such as the nasolabial folds running from nose to mouth, marionette lines or deeper forehead and glabellar creases — to smooth them and restore a softer contour. Unlike botulinum toxin, which relaxes muscles, filler physically supports and fills the crease, and the gel can be dissolved if an adjustment is ever wanted.

About this treatment

Hyaluronic acid wrinkle filler treats the static lines and folds that remain visible even when the face is at rest, which botulinum toxin alone cannot fully address. At Jurenko Clinic the physician first assesses the face as a whole, since softening one fold often works best alongside light support elsewhere, and agrees a plan that keeps proportions natural. Numbing cream is applied and most fillers also contain lidocaine, so the procedure is generally comfortable; the gel is placed with a fine needle or a blunt cannula depending on the area. Results are visible immediately and continue to settle over one to two weeks…
