Ellansé is a dermal filler in the collagen-stimulator category. Alongside an immediate volumising effect from its gel carrier, its microspheres prompt the skin to produce fresh collagen of its own over the months after treatment, which is associated with a gradual improvement in volume, contour and firmness. At JCTL the treatment is performed by Dr Jarosław Wilk, who selects between the shorter-lasting M formulation and the longer-lasting L formulation depending on the area and the longevity you want. The procedure resembles a standard filler appointment: after a free consultation and assessment, numbing is applied and the product is placed with a needle or cannula into the deeper tissue of areas such as the cheeks, chin, jawline, temples or nasolabial folds. There is an immediate volumising result, with the collagen-driven effect building over the following weeks. Mild swelling, tenderness or bruising can occur for a few days. Because the carrier is gradually resorbed while the newly formed collagen provides support, the overall effect is designed to last considerably longer than standard hyaluronic-acid filler before fading, after which it can be repeated.
