A carbon laser peel applies a fine layer of liquid carbon to the skin, which absorbs into pores and oil before laser pulses target it — drawing out impurities and exfoliating the surface for a clearer, brighter complexion. Often called a 'carbon facial', it has essentially no downtime and is popular for oily, congested or dull skin and enlarged pores. About this treatment
A carbon laser peel is a two-step laser treatment. First, a thin layer of medical liquid carbon is spread over the skin and allowed to settle into the pores, where it binds to oil, dead cells and other impurities. A laser is then passed over the area; the carbon absorbs the laser energy, and as it is targeted it lifts away the debris it has bound to while the warmth gently exfoliates the surface and is associated with stimulation of the skin.
