Microneedling with the Dermapen 4 device uses a cluster of fine needles oscillating at high speed to create thousands of precise micro-channels in the skin. These tiny, controlled injuries prompt the body's natural wound-healing response and fresh collagen and elastin production, which firms the skin and refines its surface over the following weeks. The micro-channels also allow serums applied during treatment to penetrate far more effectively. Expect redness similar to mild sunburn for 24 to 48 hours, after which the skin looks fresher and, over a few weeks, smoother and more even.
