Root canal treatment removes infected or inflamed tissue from inside a tooth, then cleans, shapes and fills the canals to save the tooth and relieve pain. At Dental Clinic Jankowscy endodontics is performed under a dental microscope for better visibility of the fine canal anatomy, with the price depending on how many canals the tooth has. A crown or core rebuild is usually advised afterwards to protect the treated tooth, quoted separately.

The tooth is anaesthetised and isolated, the canals are shaped and irrigated, and they are then filled and sealed; the price rises with the number of canals, from single-canal front teeth to four-canal molars.
