About this treatment
PRP (platelet-rich plasma) and PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) are regenerative treatments that make use of components from your own blood. A small sample is drawn and spun in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets — and, in the case of PRF, to form a fibrin matrix — which are rich in growth factors involved in tissue repair.
