IV Muscle Rehab
Type
IV Vitamin Therapy
Duration
40 min
A sports recovery infusion formulated with amino acids, magnesium, B vitamins, and anti-inflammatory nutrients to support muscle repair, reduce soreness, and accelerate recovery after intense training. Delivers recovery substrates directly to the bloodstream when muscles need them most.
The Muscle Rehab IV is formulated for athletes, bodybuilders, and active individuals who want to accelerate recovery between training sessions. Intense exercise creates micro-tears in muscle fibres, depletes glycogen stores, generates oxidative stress, and elevates inflammatory markers. Recovery depends on the availability of amino acids for protein synthesis, magnesium for muscle relaxation, B vitamins for energy metabolism, and antioxidants to manage exercise-induced oxidative damage. Oral nutrition post-exercise is important but limited by digestion speed and absorption variability. Intravenous delivery provides these nutrients immediately and at higher concentrations, which can be particularly beneficial when training volume is high or when back-to-back competitions limit recovery windows. Magnesium helps prevent cramping and supports neuromuscular function. B vitamins are co-factors in the conversion of food to cellular energy. Taurine acts as an antioxidant in muscle tissue and may reduce delayed-onset muscle soreness (DOMS). The session takes approximately 30 to 50 minutes. Many athletes schedule infusions within hours of an intense session or competition. It can be combined with Normatec compression boots (available at Glen Waverley and Moonee Ponds locations) for a comprehensive recovery protocol.
