  • Course of 3 sessions recommended with annual maintenance

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy at ISCARE's dermatology department uses the patient's own blood, centrifuged to concentrate growth factors, which are then micro-injected into the face or scalp to stimulate collagen production and tissue regeneration. At 5,500 Kč per session and administered by dermatologists, ISCARE's PRP service uses a clinical-grade centrifuge to produce a consistent, high-quality plasma fraction, and targets skin texture, fine lines, and hair thinning.

About this treatment

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy at ISCARE Klinické centrum harnesses the body's own regenerative capacity by concentrating the growth factors found naturally in platelets and reintroducing them into areas requiring tissue repair and stimulation. The treatment is performed under dermatological supervision using medical-grade equipment for both blood processing and injection.

The procedure begins with a venous blood draw — typically 20–30 ml depending on the area to be treated. The blood is placed in a clinical centrifuge that separates it into its components. The platelet-rich fraction (PRP) is extracted and activated, then drawn into fine syringes for injection. The full preparation takes approximately 20–30 minutes.

For facial rejuvenation, PRP is injected as a series of micro-droplets across the face using a fine needle or cannula, targeting areas with fine lines, volume loss, or poor skin texture — typically the cheeks, temples, tear troughs, forehead, and perioral area. The concentrated growth factors (including PDGF, TGF-β, VEGF, and EGF) stimulate fibroblasts to produce new collagen and elastin, gradually improving skin density, tone, and surface quality.
