PRP & Mesotherapy — Hair Loss Treatment

ILK's hair loss clinic offers two evidence-supported scalp treatments — PRP and mesotherapy — individually or as a combined protocol. PRP uses centrifuged A-PRP gel from the patient's own blood injected mesotherapeutically into the scalp, delivering concentrated growth factors directly to the hair follicle environment to stimulate regrowth in androgenetic alopecia and alopecia areata. Scalp mesotherapy delivers a targeted cocktail of hair-specific actives (vitamins, amino acids, DHT-blocking agents) directly to the follicle zone. The combined package provides both biological stimulation and nutritional follicle support in a single treatment cycle, priced at 7,700 Kč for the paired session.

Hair loss consultation and treatment at ILK (Vlasová poradna) is structured around two injectable approaches that target different aspects of follicle decline. In androgenetic alopecia — the most common pattern, caused by DHT-induced follicle miniaturisation — both PRP growth factors and mesotherapy actives have published evidence for improving hair count and density. PRP scalp treatment draws 8 ml of blood, centrifuges it using the RegenPlazma protocol to produce A-PRP, and injects this gel into the scalp using a mesotherapy needle array at the follicle depth. The PDGF and EGF in the PRP stimulate the stem cells in the follicle bulge region, extending the anagen (growth) phase and reversing some of the miniaturisation process. Scalp mesotherapy uses a multi-active cocktail including B vitamins (particularly biotin), amino acids, zinc, copper peptides, and specific DHT-pathway modulators injected at the same follicle depth — addressing the nutritional and hormonal environment of the follicle in addition to the growth factor stimulus. The combined package (7,700 Kč) schedules one PRP session and one mesotherapy session 1 month apart, providing complementary mechanisms in a single treatment cycle. The full protocol for meaningful result runs to 3 sessions: the first two 1 month apart and the third at the 3-month mark. Annual maintenance sustains the follicle environment thereafter. Both men and women with androgenetic alopecia, and patients with alopecia areata (patchy autoimmune hair loss), are candidates. Results are gradual — reduced shedding is typically the first sign, appearing after session 2, with density improvements visible from month 4–6 onward.
