The De-Age EX device at ILK delivers fractional radiofrequency energy directly into the dermis by bypassing the epidermis entirely with 36 microneedles. Unlike surface RF devices, this approach places thermal energy at the precise dermal depth where collagen and elastin are remodelled — from 0.1 to 4 mm — without burning the overlying skin. Thermal pulses up to 35 J contract existing collagen fibres immediately and stimulate neo-collagen synthesis over the following weeks.
