Rhinoplasty (Nose Surgery)

Rhinoplasty reshapes the nose — straightening a dorsal hump, refining the tip, or correcting asymmetry — to bring it into harmony with the rest of the face. Prim. MUDr. Inka Třešková offers both full structural rhinoplasty and a less extensive soft-nose (tip) modelling, performed under general anaesthesia at FN Plzeň with an overnight stay.

The nose sits at the centre of the face, and even modest changes to its profile or tip can meaningfully rebalance facial harmony. Rhinoplasty at this practice covers the full spectrum: reduction of a dorsal hump, narrowing of a wide bony pyramid, refinement of a bulbous or drooping tip, and correction of post-traumatic asymmetry. Where the concern is limited to the cartilaginous lower third of the nose, a soft-nose modelling procedure (from 35,000 Kč) reshapes the tip and nostrils without touching the nasal bones — a shorter operation with faster recovery. At the free consultation, the surgeon analyses the nasal anatomy, skin thickness and facial proportions, and agrees a realistic target shape. The operation is performed under general anaesthesia (included in the price) in the FN Plzeň university-hospital theatres, followed by an overnight inpatient stay billed per the hospital tariff. A small external splint protects the nose for about a week. Bruising around the eyes fades within 10–14 days, and most swelling settles within a month — though the final refined shape, particularly of the tip, emerges gradually over 6–12 months as residual swelling resolves.
